The project aims to establish and develop the Digital Health Lab in West Flanders, focusing primarily on digital preventive health.The Digital Health Lab will consist of three main components:                                                                                        

The Healthy Howest project aims to develop a health policy for Howest students and staff. A policy plan is being devised to promote physical, mental, and social well-being among both staff and students.                                                                              

The exploratory Practice-Based Research (PWO) project has yielded valuable insights into the potential of the Vital Brains App. The objective of this project is to assist the field by delivering a finalized product, enabling individuals to swiftly access specialized support.     

COVID-19 has demonstrated that utilizing digital communication tools, whether alone or in combination with face-to-face interactions, can greatly enhance the experiences of citizens, clients, and patients in their interactions with service providers, helpers, and healthcare profs

In this project, we are exploring the possibility of developing a virtual movement platform where movements are felt 'real' in real-time. There is a high dropout rate when individuals are asked to follow an exercise program alone or remotely after an initial start with a coach.  

How does listening to music affect brain development? The KidBeats project considers music as a crucial factor in children's development, although technology isn't fully prepared to bridge the gap between musicians and children.                                                    

Generative AI is currently experiencing a significant surge. AI enthusiasts see endless opportunities, while doomsayers predict the downfall of creative professions and disruption in education. This research focuses on the role of AI applications in the creative sector.
