NursEduPal@Euro

An international consortium collaborates on innovation in palliative care education of bachelor-degree nurses.

EscapePZ

We collaborate with palliative care specialist nurses to develop escape games that will later be made freely available in the sector. These games offer an innovative way to interact, test problem-solving abilities, and face challenges.

Although nurses constitute the largest group of healthcare professionals involved in providing palliative care (PC), there is still insufficient emphasis on it in basic nursing education. That's why Howest is developing the NursEduPal projects. Nurses are the primary caregivers i

FLEXICAP

Flexicap aims to unlock collective insights regarding the implementation of the digital meter. In doing so, it aims to create contemporary solutions for consumers to better manage their energy bills.

CoT - EMS DOE

For cities, keeping the energy bill affordable is a challenge. Howest is assisting Kortrijk city in this regard. Through pilot projects in Kortrijk Weide and Transfo Zwevegem, the Smart Technology Energy lab is developing a data architecture for smart control of energy systems.

PROFLEX

This project proposal aims to enable an affordable energy transition for low-voltage customers in a broader area, such as a neighborhood.

YET 20

"The best is YET to come" builds on the research project YET (Youth Environment & engagement Tool) that was commissioned by the Flemish Community, Department of the Environment and fitted into the grant call "Together we imagine space."

Healthy Howest

The Healthy Howest project aims to develop a health policy for Howest students and staff. A policy plan is being devised to promote physical, mental, and social well-being among both staff and students.

PUW!

In Flemish education, there is often talk of working excellently and maximizing talent, but at the same time, the least attention is paid to those who have the most potential and, as a result, they are at risk of dropping out.

Kapitein Werkgeluk

The aim of the project is to firmly embed Job Satisfaction in secondary education. Keeping teachers happy on board is the guiding principle. Because without Job Satisfaction, no one sails smoothly.
