Within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the knowledge about cybersecurity is limited, posing a significant risk to the security of business processes and data.                                                                                                               

For cities, keeping the energy bill affordable is a challenge. Howest is assisting Kortrijk city in this regard. Through pilot projects in Kortrijk Weide and Transfo Zwevegem, the Smart Technology Energy lab is developing a data architecture for smart control of energy systems. 

This project proposal aims to enable an affordable energy transition for low-voltage customers in a broader area, such as a neighborhood.                                                                                                                                               

During this project, an online learning platform is being developed where educational objectives related to digital competencies can be addressed.                                                                                                                                      

The DiGaMe project aims to provide tailored instructions within mathematics education, customized to meet the individual needs of each student, while simultaneously increasing engagement and motivation.
