URBAN XR LAB Within URBAN XR LAB, we will explore how to actively engage 14+ youth in (re)designing spaces, focusing onsustainable use of space and the potential of Extended Reality (XR) for visualization and simulation of designs. TEENIE TINY HOUSES From conversations with partners in the construction sector, it became evident that there is untapped potential for integrating STEM into the construction industry. SD GUERILLARTS A group of young people aged 14 and above will collaborate on spotlighting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through an artistic-technological intervention in their city/town. A program will be established in collaboration with local youth organizations. BAR Brexit The regulations related to Brexit are rapidly evolving, demanding a thorough specialization that is highly time-intensive. Through this project, we aim to assess the necessary updates required in educational programs. ERGO XR The objective is to create a Mixed Reality application that instructs students in proper and scientifically substantiated techniques for lifting and hoisting. WEB3-MV-lab Howest aims to develop and open up advanced research infrastructure to support Flemish companies, governments, organizations and citizens during their digitalization. In that context, Howest will establish a WEB3 & Metaverse Experience Lab.
