EntrepeneurÂUganda There is a high unemployment rate among young people in Uganda (83%, UBOS 2018). This is due to a significant skills gap and school dropouts. Many graduates (bachelors and masters) also struggle to find jobs due to limited skills. GalvanEyez Infra Creating digital content (marketing campaigns, websites, apps and VR/AR applications) requires a thorough understanding of end-user experiences and responses. Traditional methods such as surveys provide valuable insights, but often miss the unconscious responses. LORECO LoREco, as an ESF transition project, aims to explore ways to achieve this goal. The objective is to strengthen the local economy and social fabric within cities by using a complementary currency and a guaranteed income linked to it. BAR Brexit The regulations related to Brexit are rapidly evolving, demanding a thorough specialization that is highly time-intensive. Through this project, we aim to assess the necessary updates required in educational programs. YET 20 "The best is YET to come" builds on the research project YET (Youth Environment & engagement Tool) that was commissioned by the Flemish Community, Department of the Environment and fitted into the grant call "Together we imagine space." Brugge beweegt The project Bruges Moves is a structural collaboration between Howest and the City of Bruges to engage students in encouraging all residents of Bruges to participate in physical activity. PoST-IT In PoST-IT, three areas of expertise within Howest are innovatively connected: (1) politicizing social work, (2) evaluation and impact of social interventions, and (3) data sciences. WaterMoldova How can we ensure Moldova's rural communities have access to safe drinking water? And how can we ensure sustainable implementation of good practices related to water use, hygiene and sanitation within communities? VITAL CITIES II More and more people are convinced of the importance of living in an environment that offers ample opportunities for physical activity. The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to this, as many people rediscovered their own neighborhoods during lockdowns.
