Additional programme specific study costs 2026-27

Specific and limited costs for the use of goods and the organisation of specific events are charged to the student insofar as they are directly related to the organisation of the programme.

Certain costs are charged at a flat-rate to students with an enrollment

• with a diploma contract
• with a credit contract of 18 or more credits
• in a micro-credential in which programme-specific software is needed

The additonal programme specific study costs consist of two different parts.

Basic part of the flat-rate

These costs include, among other things:

• ISIC international student card with numerous benefits;
• Copy and printing costs of various information bundles (e.g. welcome days, study visits, international days, graduation fairs, ...);
• Use of multimedia rooms, studios and loan-out multimedia equipment;
• IT-support from the ICT helpdesk;
• Unlimited electricity consumption for charging mobile devices;
• Collectively calculated consumables for labs, practicals, bachelor’s thesis, internship;
• Copyrights (Reprobel);
• Use of electronic media library databases, intra-media library traffic;
• Use of educational ICT tools as plug-in to the Leho electronic learning environment (Panopto video tool, Lockdown Browser for secure testing environment an online exams, StrikePlagiarism for plagiarism check, Wooclap for interactive presentations, Readspeaker as reading software, Lucid for brainstorms and flowcharting, ...);
• Basic software package composed of MS365 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Onenote, Teams, Onedrive, ...), McAfee Endpoint Security Suite (Security), Linkedin Learning (online video tutorials for software, creative and business skills), Hogeschool Taal (NL+UK) (language policy supporting software), Combell webhosting (Wordpress templates, CMS, Linux hosting), E4Progress (self-studytool for MS Office products), eXplio (digitaal workbook), Siemens NX (software for CAD/CAM/CAE), Sketch B.V. (UX software for mobile development), Microsoft.NET (to build programmes). Completed with additional useful software for students (full range on https://academicsoftware.eu)

The flat-rate fee is € 123 (reduced fee € 83)

Programme-specific part of the flat-rate

For certain study programmes and micro-credentials, an additional programme-specific flate-rate is charged. The total additional study cost is as follows:

• For all software included in the additional study costs the license is valid for one academic year.
• For enrolments with 30 credits or less, the reduced study cost is charged.
• Students with multiple enrollments pay the additional study cost only once (highest amount)

Costs for books, other study materials, other programme-specific mandatory software and study trips are not included in the additional study costs. An estimation of all costs related to your study programme can be found on the webpage of that specific study programme under "How to enroll?"
