QUINDO4 Quindo is a hub where young people in Kortrijk are provided with the tools to learn and refine cross-media skills. It's a place where, under guidance, they can produce and present content on an online platform, with streaming radio at its core. Coping with crisis This project aims to introduce 'Oral Literature for Development' (OL4D) as a new paradigm, based on the belief that culture and creativity are central to the development of all people. Sleepcoach 1in 3 people lacks sufficient sleep. Sleep is crucial for our mental and physical functioning in both the short and long term. Through this Practice-Oriented Research (PWO) project, we are developing a prevention program emphasizing the importance of sleep and good sleep hygiene. SPACE 2 Can AI models engage in realistic conversations with people and perform complex tasks (behaving as a specific persona, such as a client in a psychologist's session)? And how can we combine generative AI tools to create a credible embodied conversational agent? WEB3-MV-lab Howest aims to develop and open up advanced research infrastructure to support Flemish companies, governments, organizations and citizens during their digitalization.
