1in 3 people lacks sufficient sleep. Sleep is crucial for our mental and physical functioning in both the short and long term. Through this Practice-Oriented Research (PWO) project, we are developing a prevention program emphasizing the importance of sleep and good sleep hygiene. Our goal is to raise awareness among employees and guide them toward better sleep. We are creating a sleep campaign that can eventually be implemented in other organizations, reaching those for whom sleep is a distant concern as well as those who are already (sometimes) losing sleep over it. To design the prevention program, we are relying on a validated protocol for effective intervention development.
