Promised PROMISED is an innovative research project that helps secondary school teachers address the development of scientific, digital, green and linguistic competencies in a second language in an inclusive and integrated way. STEAMhive II Within STEAMhive II, Howest provides support to organizations that organize extracurricular STEM activities through Mind-and-Makerspace (MAM) and Industrial Design Center (IDC). The project team aims to inspire and facilitate through various activities. ZorgSTEM The D4E1 Lab (Design for Everyone) within the Industrial Design Center (IDC) is one of the pioneers in human-centered and participatory healthcare innovation in Flanders, with successful projects like Makerhealth and Makeability. STEAMHIVE III Howest, through STEAMhive, plays a pivotal role in the field of STEM in leisure activities. Within STEAMhive III, Howest provides support to organisations aiming to establish extracurricular STEM activities from the Mind- and Makerspace and The Enterprise. Bridges by Mentors The project provides internationalization in the context of home, connecting international students with citizens from diverse backgrounds. As a result, an international boost is given to individuals who may not always be inclined to meet young people from another country. Kapitein Werkgeluk The aim of the project is to firmly embed Job Satisfaction in secondary education. Keeping teachers happy on board is the guiding principle. Because without Job Satisfaction, no one sails smoothly. Tope Sterk 4 The Tope Sterk projects aim to increase opportunities for young people in vulnerable situations through student tutoring.Students from higher education act as guides to support pupils in primary or secondary education in their learning process.
