Each year, you pay a student-friendly license fee for the software that you need. Basic software For several years, Howest has opted to include the licences for one academic year for the basic software package in the fixed study cost. This results in an overall extra tuition fee. Programme-related software In addition to the software that is included in the extra study cost, study programmes may also require programme-related software of which the license model and/or the volume does not allow it to be included in the group purchase.
