The collaboration between partners with technical expertise was initiated in the pilot projects AR4Industry and ConstructionSiteVision. Both pilots, ongoing until 2022, involved the development of demonstrators using VR and AR technology for the food/biotech sector and the construction sector respectively. Although many companies participated in these pilots and basic knowledge and technology capabilities were widely shared, the practical implementation of the technology in the workplace remains insufficient. This call from ESF and Vlaio aims to identify additional barriers to technology implementation and address them by providing guidance programs to companies, thereby focusing on enhancing human capital utilization.
