Public spaces are important for young people to play sports, relax, and meet each other. However, young people today are still not sufficiently involved in the development and redesign of these public spaces. How can we change this?

This European research project explores methods and tools that can be used to engage young people in redevelopment projects and to integrate their vision of the city of the future into the decision-making process of local authorities. The participating countries are France, Portugal, Poland, and Belgium.

Workshops and Events

The project organizes workshops and events where young people present their creations to urban planners. The results of the research will be compiled into a guide with methods for involving young people in urban planning. Additionally, the creative expressions of young people about their future cities will be published, and documentaries about the project will be made by the participating youth. The focus is on creating partnerships for the youth: the project aims to build a bridge between young people, youth professionals, local authorities, and urban planners to work together on the cities of 2050.
