SDGENERATION

Schools are increasingly engaging in sustainable initiatives. To showcase these efforts and provide schools with guidance in navigating the multitude of sustainability aspects, the North-South department of Bruges aims to support them through the SDGeneration platform. Additionally, this project aims to annually recognize the commitment of participating schools by awarding SDG labels.

This project will enable schools to measure, compare, and learn from their sustainable initiatives in a consistent manner, contributing to a sustainable school movement. As the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) offer a universal and coherent narrative, and with more municipalities collaborating towards a sustainable future, it was proposed to develop this offering on an inter-municipal level.

Howest's Mind- and Makerspace, in collaboration with SDG.tv, acts as a partner to provide educational support and inspiration to schools.
