The logistics sector requires highly qualified profiles. These profiles do not yet exist, which means companies have to train new employees first, consuming a lot of time and money. This Erasmus+ project aims to develop a learning program that prepares European students for a logistics education in higher education or for a job within a logistics company. To achieve this, a virtual company is established following the PE method. Each PE engages in activities, both nationally and internationally, with other companies within the PE network. Today, more than 40 countries and 7000 PEs worldwide are part of the network. By creating virtual logistics companies, this project will reduce the mismatch between the skills students are taught and the skills the sector demands. Our coordinator:CONNECTIEF vzw – COFEP (Belgium), www.cofep.beOur partners:PEN WORLDWIDE EV (Germany), www.penworldwide.orgFUNDACIO PRIVADA INFORMINSTITUT PER A LA FORMACIO DE JOVES VERS L’ADMINISTRACIO D’EMPRESES (Spain), www.inform.esSINT-JOZEF SINT-PIETER (Belgium), www.sjsp.beINSTITUT EL CALAMOT (Spain), www.ieselcalamot.com Onderzoeksgroep Bedrijfsmanagement Project manager: Stefanie Linthout Areas of expertise: Media & Communicatie Themes: digitaal ondernemen en logistiek Links: Website
