Digital creators of the future Digital design and development (Devine) is a unique 3-year bachelor's programme at KASK Conservatory school of arts of HOGENT and Howest in Kortrijk (Belgium).

In the Bachelor of Industrial Product Design programme, you learn every step of the design process: from creative concept, design and technical development to the presentation of a production-ready design.

In the final year, you are ready for a good dose of experimentation. If you choose to minor in Creative Development, you will be working with Arduinos, WebGL, Machine Learning and real-time communication.

This minor puts you on the frontline of every digital project. With your UX research skills, you refine each interface to create an efficient and usable whole. To do so, you ask the most important questions before design and development even start.

Expert Visual Design In Expert Visual Design, you delve fully into the visual digital world. You provide delight through interface combined with powerful imagery.

The world is changing fast and so is the way we communicate. We now live in a digital world and digital natives are increasingly the main target group. If you want to stand out, creativity is key.

During this semester, we’ll specifically train your surfacing skills & freeform modeling in CAD. We’ll work on your personal signature design style and try to find a match between you and our local Belgian brands.

Designing industrial products requires both creative and technical insights from the designer, meaning that both concept development skills and know-how of materialization and production are essential.
