The video game industry is undergoing significant changes and faces challenges in recruitment and professional integration. Strong game development ecosystems exist in the regions of Wallonia, Flanders, and Hauts-de-France, but collaboration between these regions remains limited. This project aims to strengthen the professional and entrepreneurial skills of students in the video game industry through a cross-border Game Jam.

During this intensive week, students from four institutions will participate in company visits, networking opportunities, and a creative marathon in which they develop functional game prototypes in mixed teams. Organizing this second edition in Wallonia builds on the successful first edition in Hauts-de-France. The project stimulates cross-border collaboration, increases the visibility of young talent, and facilitates the professional integration of students. The results of the Game Jam will be presented at trade fairs and museums, creating a lasting impact on the industry.
