Digital technology and esports have become an indispensable part of society. Esports Campus is an innovative project that combines technology, gaming, and learning to support companies, students, and professionals in developing digital and social skills.

In this practice-oriented learning environment, esports and exergaming are used to research new training methods and test technologies. Digital transformation demands new skills in sectors such as IT, gaming, healthcare, and industry. At the same time, companies and educational institutions are experiencing a gap between the needs of the labor market and existing training programs.

Esports Campus offers a solution with high-tech infrastructure: an esports arena, exergaming setups, and digital labs. Training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations are held here, preparing participants for the digital future. The research methodology used is a co-creation with stakeholders, supplemented with market research, interviews, workshops, and pilot phases for testing training modules. Collaboration between companies, educational institutions, and civil society organizations strengthens the bridge between theory and practice.

The project is developing innovative training modules focused on digital and transferable skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. The results will contribute to the broader use of esports and exergaming as educational and professional tools in Flanders and beyond.
