In the summer of 2023 Howest will host the 9th edition of the IT Security Summer Camp (3 ECST). Students from participating schools will gather in Bruges for a week of intensive training and real life exercises in Reverse Malware Engineering, Security management, Forensics, Communications Security, Pentesting and Capture the Flag.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure to bring a laptop
  • The Howest campus is a cashless campus so bring your bankcard.

There are many hotels and AirBnb places in the city. Make sure to book as soon as possible because it can be very busy in this city!

Food and beverages

  • There is a budget friendly student restaurant on campus where you can buy a lunch and beverages.
  • There are plenty of shops nearby the campus or in the city center.

Location

The Summer Camp will be hosted on our campus in Bruges (Sint-Jorisstraat 71). Very close to the main train station.
