Experiential Learning in and with Nature: Towards Sustainable Implementation in Diverse Contexts

Experiential learning in natural environments is a potent approach for enhancing people's well-being. This holistic method can be employed preventively and curatively, providing an answer to the demand for strength-based and recovery-oriented practices across various contexts.

Nevertheless, experiential learning in natural settings remains limited in its availability, often met with hesitation. Several obstacles have been identified. The objective of this project is to gain deeper insights into the barriers and facilitators for sustainably implementing experiential learning in and with nature across diverse contexts and sectors. Additionally, the project aims to identify strategies to overcome barriers and strengthen facilitators. Ultimately, these insights will be translated into high-quality solutions developed through a systematic process.
