Group offer

Within the programme

The study coach from your programme might visit you during one of your classes to give a session on study skills. Check your class timetable to see if such a session is scheduled soon.

Apart from the programme

Would you rather not wait? No problem! STUVO also organises group sessions outside classes online. Note: these sessions will only take place in Dutch this semester. You can find the offer below:

Starter kit studytips

In this session, you’ll learn the ‘must-know’ study tips that can help you pass the modules you’re taking this year. We’ll be discussing: planning and organising.

These sessions will take place online.

The day before the session starts, you’ll receive the MS Teams link via email.

Group training Psywest

We are joining forces with other higher education institutions to extend our offer. Together with them, we organise information sessions, workshops and training courses on psychological well-being. The following topics are on offer:

Howest Studenten

Studying together

You study better in group or you don't have an optimal study-work space at home? Then you can visit Howest's quiet study rooms.

Until 30th June, students from Howest and Ugent campus Kortrijk can use several classrooms on the Howest campuses. You can find the offer in the announcements on the Howest Brugge or Kortrijk info site, as well as below:

  • Bruges: Media Hub BST.D.0.101 -> only during opening hours
  • Kortrijk: KWE.P.-1.019 and Media Hub The Penta -> only during opening hours

Individual study coaching AFTER REFERRAL

Are you a student with disability, or have you been referred through your study programme or the social services? If so, you can also make an individual appointment for study coaching. You can make this appointment with the study coach linked to your study programme. Prepare the meeting well by first going through the offer above. During an individual conversation, we will examine what study support you could use. The support is flexible and tailored to the student. Study support can be arranged on an occasional or periodic basis.
