Erasmus Intensive Programme Helsinki 2010

“Business with a cause. Young Europeans developing sustainopreneurship”

Along with nine Communications and Tourism students from Howest Kortrijk, I was selected to go on IP (= Intensive Programme) for two weeks. Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in the capital of Finland was our host. There were a lot of activities during those two weeks. We visited Nokia, we had a European aperitif, discovered the real Finnish saunas and we went to Suomenlinna island. The other participating countries were Holland, Finland, Poland, Austria and Portugal. Every Belgian participant integrated a group of six students, all of a different nationality. The purpose of the IP was for the international teams to develop a business plan with the main focus on sustainability. Afterwards, we received a certificate with four ECTS. These are European credits. Those two weeks were very intensive, but the parties at night as well!
